Golosón International Airport, expanded and remodelled in 2004, is one of the most important in Honduras. It serves the area of La Ceiba and the entire northern coast of the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Canada and the Cayman Islands.

Taxi - Ranks are found outside the main building. Cabs do not have meters. Inside the urban area, fares are fixed, while you must agree on a price with the driver beforehand for longer journeys. Travel time to the city centre is 15 minutes.
There is a car rental desk from Avis (Tel +504 2441 2802) that operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
There is a small parking lot opposite the terminal building with a few covered spaces.
The enclosure has ramps and adapted restrooms. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their particular needs at the moment of their booking.
