LaGuardia Airport offers official parking options tailored to each terminal. It’s strongly recommended to pre-book via the airport’s official website, as this guarantees a space and is often cheaper than drive-up rates.
Parking by Terminal
Choose based on your airline/terminal:
- Terminal A Parking: Open-air lot directly across from Terminal A (Marine Air Terminal). Most convenient for Spirit and Frontier (when departing from A).
- Terminal B Parking: Multi-level covered garage directly connected to the new Terminal B via pedestrian bridge. Ideal for American, United, Southwest, and Air Canada.
- Terminal C Parking: Covered garage directly connected to Terminal C, serving primarily Delta and WestJet passengers.
Additional Options
Accessible Parking: Designated spaces near terminal access points in all garages. Discounted rates available for vehicles with official disability permits.
EV Charging: Electric-vehicle charging stations are available in the Terminal B and C garages. Check exact locations upon entry.
Cell Phone Lot
Located near the airport entrance (Grand Central Parkway Exit 5). Drivers may wait free of charge until arriving passengers are curbside. Vehicles may not be left unattended.
Quick tips: confirm garage clearance/oversize restrictions; snap a photo of your level/section; allow extra time during peak hours; confirm your booking’s grace period to avoid overstay fees.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
LaGuardia Airport (LGA) is committed to accessible facilities and inclusive service for all travelers. If you require specific assistance (e.g., wheelchair), it’s strongly recommended to contact your airline at least 72 hours in advance to ensure availability.
Passengers with Reduced Mobility
Wheelchairs: This service is provided exclusively by airlines. Request it during booking. Airline staff will escort you from the check-in counter to your seat on the aircraft.
General Accessibility: The new terminals follow universal design standards, with ramps, wide elevators, accessible restrooms, and Braille signage. Inter-terminal transport (LaGuardia Link) is wheelchair accessible.
Hidden & Sensory Disabilities
The airport recognizes the Sunflower Lanyard program so travelers with non-visible disabilities (autism, anxiety, etc.) can discreetly signal the need for extra support.
Sensory Room: Terminal B offers a Sensory Room (post-security) providing a calm space for travelers with sensory sensitivities.
Families & Lactation
Lactation Rooms: Dedicated Nursing Suites are available in all terminals, with privacy, comfortable seating, and outlets for pumps—both pre- and post-security.
Family Restrooms: Unisex restrooms with baby-changing tables are located throughout the airport.
Unaccompanied Minors
Escort services for unaccompanied minors are the sole responsibility of each airline. Check airline policies, fees, and age requirements in advance.
Service Animals
Pet Relief Areas are available in every terminal, both before and after security for easier connections.
