When you arrive at the airport, you can request vehicles from Uber, Enjoy, E-VAI, Share Now or Zity. Pick-up points are located on the sixth floor of car park P2. Note, however, that these can vary, so it is recommended that you follow the directions directly on the app to find your driver.

Bus

Line 73 from ATM (Tel +39 248 607 607) runs every 10 minutes from 5:30 am to 1:05 am to Piazza Duomo, where there is a metro station. Tickets cost €2.20 and intermediate stops include Forlanini, Piazza Grandi, Piazza Emilia, Piazza Santa Maria del Suffragio, Piazza Cinque Giornate, Segrate and San Felicino. The journey time is about 60 min. At Forlanini Station, you can board train services to different destinations: Varese, Passante, Passante, Treviglio, Novara, Saronno, Seregno, Albairate.

Route 923 connects the airport with San Raffaele Hospital in about 100 min., with intermediate stops in Piazza Centro and Segrate. Departures Monday to Friday between 6:15 am and 8:30 pm, weekends from 9:25 am to 7:25 pm.

Linate Shuttle (Tel +39 258 583 185) goes to Piazzale Dateo and the central station (€7.00; 25 min.) every 30 min. from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm, while the Airport Bus Express (Tel +39 230 089 000) travels to Lambrate and the central station, with a fare of €5.00. It operates from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm.

Route z409 from Autoguidovie (Tel +39 800 678 850) runs to Segrate, Pioltello Limito and Rodano, with a journey time of 30 min. and a fare of €2.20. Monday to Friday from 5:55 am to 1:00 pm and Saturday from 6:05 am to 12:05 pm.

Livigno Express (Tel +39 342 996 283) offers transfers to Bormio Automobilistica Perego, Valdidentro Piazza della Chiesa Isolaccia and Livigno Centro Sci Fondo (€55.00; 4 hours trip). It operates only on Saturdays during the winter season, with a departure at 3:00 pm.

On the other hand, FLYSKI Shuttle (Tel +39 461 391 111) goes to Trentino and the ski resorts of the Dolomites from €35.00, while Flixbus (Tel +39 294 759 208) connects the airport to various cities in Italy.

Metro

You can get to and from the airport on the M4 line from ATM (Tel +39 248 607 607), which travels to Dateo in 8 minutes, with stops at Susa, Argonne, Forlanini and Repetti. Fare: €2.20. Daily departures every 7 min. from 6:00 am to 8:55 pm.

Taxi

Taxi ranks are located outside gate 5, in the Arrivals area. The journey to the city centre takes 15-30 minutes. Although there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take them into account when moving to or from the airport, and especially if we go by public transport.  1- To the airport - It is convenient to leave with a little more anticipation than what is commonly suggested. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always take into account peak traffic times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may delay the journey to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what is happening. If you contract a shared transfer service, have a contact telephone number handy in case of any delay by the company. In these cases they usually already have a scheduled collection time. If you use public transport (collective, train) take into account the schedules (weekends and holidays tend to have less frequency), if you have to change and also how to board (if you need a card or paying the driver or motorist at the moment ). These are details that seem obvious, but it is advisable to know so as not to have surprises and suffer a delay that could cause complications. If you rent a car to get to the airport, check where to leave the vehicle. At some airports, there is an exclusive parking lot for rental cars.  2 -From the airport- Here it is a little less stressful since you don't have the pressure of missing your flight. In the worst case, you will arrive later at the place where you are going to stay or at the meeting point where you are trying to arrive. Once you leave the plane, look for your suitcase and finish with the arrival procedures that are required. Then, follow the directions for public transportation or ask the airport staff. It is very useful to find out in advance the schedules of the buses or trains in case you arrive late at night. Not all work 24 hours. The same goes for taxis. In case of using an Uber-type service, have the mobile application handy to contact the driver. On the other hand, if you booked a private transport service, it is likely that they will have a person waiting for you, identified with a sign. If you rent a car to go from the airport to your final destination, for greater peace of mind it is advisable to book it in advance. Rental counters are usually available in the arrivals hall.
