Lagos airport (LOS)

Murtala Muhammed International Airport, opened in 1947, is the busiest in Nigeria, serving most of the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and North America. At present, it is one of the largest and most modern in the continent.

The airport is located in Ikeja, 22 km (14 miles) northwest from Lagos.

Public and private transportation

Ride-sharing

Uber (Tel +234 1493 3385) and Bolt offer services from the terminals. The pick-up location can change, so it is recommended to check the app after requesting a ride to find out where to meet the driver.

Taxi

Official cabs are painted yellow and ranks are located outside the Arrivals and Departures areas. The journey to the city centre takes between 30 and 60 minutes. Agree on a fare with the driver before setting off.
