Luxor airport (LXR)

Luxor International Airport, opened on May, 1946, is one of the most important in Egypt, being a popular tourist destination. It operates with domestic destinations and international flights to different cities in Europe and the Middle East.

Vehicles available around the clock outside the terminal. Agree on a fare with the driver before departing. The trip to the city centre takes 20-25 minutes.

Parking for short or long periods is possible at the lot located opposite the main entrance to the terminal.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Ramps and wheelchairs, which must be requested in advance, are available. There are also reserved parking spaces close to the terminal. Passengers with special needs should contact their airline or travel agency prior to travel.
