Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Luxor Airport is open around the clock, so you can stay overnight if you have an early morning flight.
Where to rest: There are limited comforts within the terminal, so consider bringing a sleeping bag or blankets in case you need to sleep on the floor. However, there are two VIP lounges offering more comfort and privacy, both open throughout the night but with a maximum stay of 3 hours. Nearby hotels generally provide shuttle services for their guests.
Baggage: The terminal does not have luggage storage facilities, meaning you must keep your belongings with you until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Available options close at night.
Wi-Fi: The access is free.
