The airport is located in the municipality of Svedala, 28 km (17.4 miles) east of Malmö, 26 km (16.2 miles) southeast of Lund and 55 km (34.2 miles) from Copenhagen.

Parking services at Malmö airport (MMX)
There are four car parks near the terminal, plus a passenger drop-off and pick-up area 1 minute from the terminal. Valet parking and car wash services are also available (Tel +46 4050 0024). Facilities for passengers with special needs
Inform your airline or travel agent of your particular needs at the time of booking or at least 48 hours in advance. Passengers who require it will be escorted from an agreed pick-up point or from the check-in hall through passport and customs control. Designated parking spaces are available in front of the terminal and in car parks P1 and P4. Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 5 and 11 will be assisted by airport staff through security and on boarding the aircraft, and supervised during the flight by the airline.
