Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, opened on 24 November 1945, is the main airport of the Republic of Mauritius. There is a parking area for short and long stays located in front of the terminal and connected to it by wide walkways. The area is under 24-hour video surveillance. The first 15 minutes of parking are free. Fees
Facilities include ramps, lifts, adapted toilets, special lanes at various checkpoints, accessible counters, and reserved parking spaces close to the terminal. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs must inform their airline of their specific needs at least 48 hours in advance. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted by staff from the relevant airline.
