Spending the Night at the Airport

Nice Airport remains open 24 hours a day, allowing passengers to stay overnight inside its facilities. While it is not the most comfortable option, it is possible to find places to rest, especially if you are well prepared.

Where to Rest

• Seating areas: Throughout both terminals, especially in the arrivals zones, there are seats available. Some travellers have reported finding armrest-free seats in Terminal 1 and in the public area of Terminal 2, which makes it easier to lie down. However, bright lights and cleaning or staff noise may be inconvenient.
• Comfort: It is advisable to bring a blanket, sleeping bag or warm clothing, as temperatures can drop significantly at night, even in summer. A travel pillow and earplugs can also improve the experience.
• VIP lounges: For more privacy and comfort, the airport’s VIP lounges (The Canopy Lounge, The Library Lounge, The Infinity Lounge, The Levity Lounge) offer a quieter environment with comfortable seating and additional services. Access is available through membership, online booking, or payment at the door.
• Nearby hotels: The most recommended option for proper rest is to book a room in one of the hotels near the airport, many of which offer free shuttle services.

• During the night, food and drink options are usually limited to vending machines located throughout the terminals. It is advisable to purchase food and drinks in advance if you plan to stay overnight.
