Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Sleeping at Nice airport is possible, but it may not be the most comfortable option. The airport is open 24 hours a day and there are seating areas throughout the terminal where you can rest. However, some of these seating areas can be noisy and uncomfortable, especially if you are trying to sleep for an extended period of time. If you decide to sleep in the airport, it is important to keep your belongings close by and be aware of your surroundings.
Where to rest: You'll find comfortable, armless seats to lie down in the Arrivals areas, but the airport is often cold during the day and even colder at night, so you may also want to bring a sleeping bag or travel blanket to keep you warm and comfortable. In addition, there are VIP lounges at the airport, which offer a private and quiet place to rest. There are several nearby hotels that offer shuttle services, so you can easily get to and from the airport.
Baggage: Luggage storage at the service centre, in Terminal 2, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Eating and drinking: During the night, only vending machines are available.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available 24 hours a day: ATMs, children's play areas, baby changing facilities.
