 Passenger Guide

Chubu Centrair International Airport, also known as Central Japan Airport and opened on 17 February 2005, is an airport island serving the urban area of Nagoya. It is one of the most important airports in Japan and one of the most modern in the world, being the main gateway to the Chubu region. While it operates several domestic flights, the majority are international, with destinations in China, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, connected every 15 minutes via free shuttles.

Terminal 1 is open from 4:40 am to 11:30 pm and operates domestic flights from the north wing and international flights from the south wing. On the fourth floor, you will find the Sky Town Shopping Centre, a shopping and dining area.

Terminal 2 opens only during flight hours and serves low-cost flights.

In front of Terminal 1 is the Access Plaza, where you will find the airport train station and other services.

Welcome Garden, on the first floor of Terminal 1, the Arrivals Hall on the second floor, and the Access Plaza remain open 24 hours a day.

There are information counters on each floor, open from 6:40 am to 10:30 pm. There are also volunteers in orange vests trained to provide information.

Tourist offices on the first and second floors of Terminal 1 and in the Access Plaza, available from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The airport is located on an artificial island in Ise Bay, in the city of Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, connected to the mainland by a bridge and located 35 km (22 miles) south of Nagoya.

Parking services at Nagoya Centrair airport (NGO)

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The facilities include adapted toilets, spacious lifts, moving walkways, Braille signage, tactile surfaces, accessible drinking fountains, sensory rooms, relief areas for service animals, ramps, and reserved spaces in the multi-level car parks (first floor of P1, fourth floor of P2 and P3).
