Kahului Airport (OGG), opened in 1952, is the main gateway to the island of Maui and the second-busiest airport in Hawaii. It plays a crucial role in linking Maui with the other islands of the archipelago—primarily via the air corridor to Honolulu—and operates a large number of flights to the North American mainland, including the United States and Canada.

Terminal
The airport has a single passenger terminal serving all gates. Owing to its design, parts of the airport are open-air, offering a tropical arrival experience. The terminal does not operate 24 hours, so it’s advisable to check opening times if you have an early-morning or late-night flight.
