Line 225 from Bus í‰ireann (Tel +353 1836 6111) runs to the city centre and Kent train station between 5:40 am and 10:40 pm, with a 30-minute frequency. The service also goes to Clayton, Ballygarvan, Carrigaline, Ringaskiddy and Haulbowline.Route 226 travels to Parnell Place bus terminal and Kent Station, South Mall, Riverstick, Belgooly and Kinsale from 5:20 am to 0:20 am.
Bus 252 operates during the summer only and goes to Parnell Place, Kinsale, Innishannon, Bandon, Clonakilty, Rosscarbery, Skibbereen, Ballydehob, Bantry, Glengariff and Kenmare, while line 225 goes to Ballygarvan, Carrigaline, Ringaskiddy and Haulbowline.
Citilink (Tel +353 9156 4164) provides transport several times a day to Limerick (2 hours; €17.00) and Galway (3 hours 20 mins; €24.00).
