Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Punta del Este airport has a small terminal that is open 24 hours a day.
Where to rest: The airport does not offer many possibilities to rest in the public areas, but in the pre-boarding hall there is a VIP lounge where you can enjoy more comfort and privacy, although it closes at night. Your best option is probably to book a room in advance at one of the nearby hotels and coordinate your transfer with them.
Baggage: There is no left-luggage service at the airport at this time.
Eating and drinking: The cafeterias in the terminal are closed at night. Have some snacks prepared in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
