Portland International Airport (PDX), which opened a spectacular, fully new main terminal in August 2024, is Oregon’s largest airport. Renowned for its innovative design and passenger-experience focus, it operates an extensive network of domestic flights and international routes to Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Asia.

Terminal
The airport operates a single, brand-new main terminal, open 24 hours. Boarding gates are organized into different concourses (currently B and E), accessed after a centralized security checkpoint.
Annual Passenger Traffic: 18.2 million passengers in 2024.
Information Points
Information counters are located on the arrivals (baggage-claim) level near the exits. In addition, the airport has a team of Volunteer Navigators—recognizable by their uniforms—who assist throughout the terminal.

The airport is located just south of the Columbia River, in Multnomah County, 6 miles (10 km) northeast of downtown Portland.

Parking services at Portland airport (PDX)
Short and long term parking. 24-hour valet parking service in front of the Departures level. There are also free sectors for motorcycles and bicycles and charging stations for electric vehicles. Short-Term Parking - Multi-level facility in front of the terminal, for short stays, connected by tunnels and walkways.
Long-Term Parking - Long-term parking behind the previous sector, connected to the main building through tunnels.
Economy Lot - Remote parking, with complementary 24-hour shuttle bus service every 7-15 minutes.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
Designated spaces are available in most parking lots, adapted restrooms and telephones, relief areas for service animals, sensory room, moving walkways, accessible drinking fountains and counters, visual paging services. Buses operating within the airport are equipped with ramps. Therapy dogs are also available throughout the airport. To request special assistance or wheelchairs, contact your airline before arrival or use one of the white courtesy phones located throughout the terminal between 6:00 am and 11:30 pm.
