Ride-sharing
DiDi,
Ola and
Uber offer services that pick up passengers in specific areas in front of the terminals. Simply follow the directions on the relevant app to find your driver. It is recommended that you wait until you have collected your bags and are ready to leave before requesting a vehicle. The fare to the city centre is about $32.00. A $4.00 surcharge applies for airport pick-up.
Bus
Transperth (Tel +61 136 213 / 894 281 966) operates line 37, which connects the airport's train station (Airport Central) with Belmont Forum and Oats Street Monday to Friday between 5:35 am and 7:28 pm.
Route 292 is a circular service between Redcliffe Station and the drop-off and pick-up area of terminals 3 and 4, with a frequency of 12 min. during peak hours. Monday to Friday from 5:30 am to 0:30 am, Saturday from 6:00 am to 0:30 am, Sunday from 7:30 am to 0:30 am.
Bus 940, on the other hand, travels between Redcliffe Station and Elizabeth Quay, via the Great Eastern Highway and Victoria Park. Departures Monday to Friday between 4:51 am and 11:52 pm, Saturdays from 5:17 am to 11:52 pm and Sundays from 6:23 am to 11:22 pm.
To use the bus and train services, you can purchase a SmartRider travel card at the Smarte Carte store, located on the ground floor of Terminal 1. These reusable cards are the most economical way to travel, offering a 10% discount on regular fares.
Train
The
Airport Line service from
Transperth (Tel +61 136 213 / 894 281 966) travels to Perth Station in 18 minutes for $5.20. It operates Monday to Friday between 5:45 am and 1:06 am, Saturdays from 6:23 am to 1:06 am and Sundays from 7:45 am to 0:21 am. Other stops on the route include High Wycombe, Redcliffe, Meltham, Maylands, Mt. Lawley, Claisebrook, McIver, City West, Daglish, Shenton Park, Karrakatta and Claremont.
The airport station is connected to terminals 1 and 2 by skybridges, while the closest station to terminals 3 and 4 is Redcliffe, which is accessible by bus 292.
Taxi
Vehicles are available 24 hours a day outside all terminals and on Valentine Road. The official operators are
Swan Taxis (Tel +61 132 227) and
Black & White Cabs (Tel +61 133 222). The taxi driver may ask you to pay for the journey in advance. The ride to the city centre usually takes about 20 minutes and costs about $54.00. A $4.00 fee applies when taking a taxi from the terminals.
