Beijing Daxing International Airport, opened on 25 September 2019, was built to ease the high demand at Beijing Capital Airport. It operates numerous domestic flights and some international routes to neighbouring countries, Russia, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. It is the second-largest single-terminal airport in the world, behind the new Istanbul Airport. Its modern and innovative starfish-shaped design ensures that the walking distance to any boarding gate does not exceed 600 metres.

The airport is located on the border between Beijing and Langfang, 46 km (29 miles) south of Tiananmen Square, in the centre of Beijing, and 65 km (40 miles) south of Beijing Capital Airport.

Therefore, if you wish to rent a car, you can follow the necessary procedure to obtain a temporary driving permit, or simply rent a car with a driver.
The car parks are located on the north side of the terminal. Battery charging and tyre inflation services are available. Additionally, there are dedicated bicycle parking spaces beneath the viaduct at the intersection of Tianxing Second Street and 5th Yuanjing East Street. P1 & P2 - Short-stay parking areas connected to the main terminal via a corridor on the second floor. Electric vehicle charging stations are available on Level 1M of P2.

Passengers with reduced mobility have access to special ramps and all necessary facilities to ensure easy access. Individuals with special needs (elderly passengers, children, pregnant women, the sick, and people with disabilities) can benefit from free wheelchairs, baby strollers, escort services, luggage transport, and even a free car battery replacement service. Additionally, a free winter clothing deposit box is available.

There is also an accessible unisex toilet, which is independent and equipped with a low sink, a personal belongings counter, a coat hook, a lower hand dryer, safety armrests, and an emergency call button. Its unisex design allows passengers to be accompanied by a person of the opposite gender if needed.
