Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Palma de Mallorca airport operates many flights and connections within Europe, so the airport is busy. It is not noted for having comfortable places to rest. Therefore, it is advisable to have a sleeping bag and blankets handy, as it tends to get cold. In addition, passengers wishing to spend the night on the premises must stay in the public area once the security checkpoint closes.
Where to rest: Throughout the terminal, there are several seats without armrests, especially near gates C50-C60. On the upper level, there is a terrace that can be a quiet place to rest, as well as the children's entertainment areas, while in some cafeterias you can find more comfortable armchairs. Another option (either for a fee or with a credit card that provides the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges. The only problem is that they close at night and the maximum stay is 4 hours. Numerous hotels can also be found nearby.
Baggage: Luggage storage offices are currently closed. This means that you will have to stay with your bags until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: There are cafés open throughout the night. There are also duty free shops open 24 hours a day in Module A.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's playgrounds, nursing room, first aid clinic.
