Port Moresby International Airport, also known as Jacksons International Airport and opened in 1975, is the largest and busiest airport in Papua New Guinea. It operates domestic flights and serves several destinations in Australia, the islands of Oceania, the Far East and Southeast Asia.

The airport is located in the suburb of Saraga, 8 km (5 miles) northeast of central Port Moresby.

Parking services at Port Moresby airport (POM)
There are parking bays located in front of both terminals. The area in front of the Domestic Terminal accommodates 274 vehicles, while the parking lot at the International Terminal has space for 397 vehicles. Currently, no fees are charged for using the parking facilities.

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs during their time at the airport are advised to contact their airline at least 48 hours before their arrival to arrange the appropriate services.
