Poznan–Lawica Henryk Wieniawski Airport (POZ), opened on 26 August 1913, is one of the oldest operational airports in Poland. It serves as a vital transport hub for the Greater Poland region, operating domestic and international flights to major European hubs, as well as seasonal destinations in the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Terminals
The airport features a single main terminal divided into arrivals and departures areas, operating 24 hours a day. Facilities include a unified check-in area and separate sections for Schengen and non-Schengen flights.

The airport offers several covered and monitored parking options, differentiated by colour, location and pricing to suit short- or long-term stays.
Quick Drop-off Zones
For dropping off or picking up passengers without parking, there are two areas with strict time limits:
- Kiss & Fly: Located 30 metres from the terminal. The first 15 minutes are free, with a maximum stay limit of 5 minutes. Once the free period is exceeded, charges apply.
- Drop-Off Zone: Located at the terminal exit. The maximum stopping time is 2 minutes. It is not intended for waiting.
Short- and Medium-Stay Parking
These areas are ideal for those accompanying passengers or carrying out quick errands at the airport:
- P1 (Blue), P2 (Yellow) and P3 (Red): The closest areas to the departures and arrivals buildings, providing immediate access to the terminal.
- P4 (Graphite): Located slightly further away, it offers more competitive rates for medium-length stays.
Long-Stay Parking
For trips lasting several days or weeks, the airport provides dedicated areas with reduced rates:
- P5 and P6 (Green): These are the most economical parking areas, intended for long-term stays. They are located just a few minutes’ walk from the terminal.
Important: The P5 long-stay car park is temporarily closed. All long-stay parking and reservations are currently redirected to the P6 car park.
Online Booking: Parking spaces can be reserved in advance via the airport’s official system to guarantee availability and access special discounts for long-stay areas.

Poznan Airport is designed to ensure accessibility and comfort for all travellers, offering specific services for people with disabilities, reduced mobility, and those travelling with assistance animals or pets.
Assistance for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM)
To ensure appropriate assistance, it is essential that you notify your airline, travel agent or tour operator of your need for assistance at least 48 hours in advance of your flight’s departure. This notice allows airport staff to be prepared to receive and assist you throughout the entire process, from your arrival at the terminal to boarding the aircraft.
Meeting points: Assistance points equipped with yellow intercom buttons are available at key locations, including bus stops, car parks and next to the terminal entrance doors.

Infrastructure and Accessibility
- Lifts and ramps connecting all levels of the building.
- Adapted and clearly signposted toilets in public and boarding areas.
- Reserved parking spaces located as close as possible to the main entrances.
Assistance dogs and pets
- Guide and assistance dogs: Travel free of charge in the passenger cabin. You must inform the airline at least 48 hours in advance and present the animal’s training certificate, as well as valid health documentation (pet passport, microchip and vaccinations). A muzzle is not mandatory, although carrying one is recommended as a precaution.
- Pets: The transport of other animals (dogs and cats) is subject to each airline’s specific policies. Generally, a European pet passport, microchip and rabies vaccination are required. Check-in is carried out at the standard counters in the terminal.
