Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Overnight at the airport
Tahiti Faa'a airport is open 24 hours a day, allowing you to stay overnight if you have an early morning flight. However, be aware that the air-conditioning can be very cold at times, so it's recommended that you keep a coat handy.
Where to rest: While the options are limited, you will find some long benches around the airport, although they are made of metal and may not be very comfortable. In the International Terminal, there is also a VIP lounge with additional amenities, but it closes at night. On the other hand, there is accommodation opposite the airport for those looking for more comfort.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage facilities on the premises at this time.
Eating and drinking: The shops are closed at night. Have some snacks prepared in advance.
Restrooms: Showers inside the VIP lounge, but not in the public toilets.
Wi-Fi: Free for 15 minutes.
