Spending the night at the airport

Raleigh-Durham airport operates with many flights and connections inside the United States and international destinations, so it is common to see movement even during the night. Although the terminals are open around the clock, passengers must remain in the public area after the security checkpoints close.

Where to rest: There are recliners next to the security control and padded benches with no armrests, but they are scarce. There are also long benches in the baggage reclaim area of Terminal 2. Another option (by paying or with a credit card that provides the service) is to access one of the VIP lounges, which provide more amenities, though they close at night. On the other hand, in the airport surroundings, there are several hotels with shuttle service.

Baggage: The enclosure does not operate a left luggage service, so you must remain with your baggage until checking-in.

Eating and drinking: Inside Terminal 2 and next to the airport's entrance there are coffee shops that open 24 hours a day. Most shops open between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm.

Restrooms: There are showers only inside the Admirals Club lounge.

Wi-Fi: It is free for 48 hours.
