Transportation
Bus
ATAM (Tel +39 965 620 121 / 800 282 600) operates several services from the site. Line 27 travels to Via Ravagnese, Brico Center, Viale Calabria, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza Duomo, Teatro Comunale, Terminal Libertí , Via Graziella and Facoltí Agraria from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, while route 28 goes to Via Ravagnese, Brico Center, Viale Calabria, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza Duomo, Teatro Comunale, Terminal Libertí and Salita Zerbi from 7:30 am to 8:30 pm. The PA service connects the airport with the port without intermediate stops, with departures at 2:40 pm and 4:55 pm. Fares from €1.50.
Chiamabus (Tel +39 800 000 036) is a door-to-door service to destinations within the province, available 24 hours on request.
On the other hand, Autolinee Federico (Tel +39 965 644 747) provides transport to the Ionian Coast as far as Caulonia Marina (2 hours), with stops at Melito, Bova Marina, Spropoli, Galati, Brancaleone, Africo Nuovo, Bianco, Bovalino, Locri, Siderno and Marina di Gioiosa.
Train
The station is located 1 km from the site and is served by a complimentary bus.
Trenitalia trains (Tel +39 668 475 475) run from there to Reggio di Calabria station (€1.40; 10 min.), Melito, Rosarno, Catanzaro Lido and Roccella Jonica (€8.50; 2 hours).
Ferry
Bluferries (Tel +39 906 786 626) connects the Reggio di Calabria region with Villa San Giovanni and Messina (from €3.70; 50 min. trip), every 1 hour, 24 hours a day. The same service is provided by
Caronte & Tourist (Tel +39 905 737), with a fare of €2.50.
Liberty Lines (Tel +39 923 022 022) offers transfers to the Aeolian Islands, including Stromboli, Panarea, Milazzo, Vulcano, Lipari, Salina and Rinella.
Taxi
Vehicles available in front of the terminal. The journey to the city centre takes 15 minutes and costs between €20.00 and €24.00.
