Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Rhodes airport is small and tends to be very busy during the high season. There is no air conditioning, so it can be difficult to get a good night's rest. It is advisable to have a mask handy, as the lights are on all night long. Also, make sure you are prepared with comfortable clothes, a pillow and a blanket.
Where to rest: The airport does not have specific facilities for layover passengers such as beds or rest areas. The seats available inside the terminal are made of metal and are not very comfortable. On the other hand, there are a number of hotels nearby, some of which offer shuttle services.
Baggage: There are lockers in the baggage reclaim hall, where you can leave your belongings until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: There are no options open at night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
