Riga Airport is a modern and safe terminal that remains open 24 hours a day, allowing travellers to spend the night on its premises. Although the atmosphere is generally calm, it is important to be prepared for the specific conditions of the terminal during the early morning hours.

Rest areas

In the public area (before security), there are metal benches distributed throughout the departures and arrivals zones. However, the most comfortable seating is located in the boarding area (after security). Travellers often highlight sections C and E, which have some benches without armrests where it is possible to lie down, as well as areas with padded seating near the commercial zones.

For higher-quality rest without leaving the transit area, the main option is the Kepler Club, a capsule hotel located on the third floor of Sector C and on Level 2, available 24 hours a day.

Factors to consider

• Temperature: The terminal can become quite cold at night due to the air-conditioning system. It is advisable to bring warm clothing or a small blanket.
• Lighting and noise: The lights remain on and public address announcements are made periodically. The use of an eye mask and earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones is recommended.
• Security: The airport has constant surveillance, making it a safe place to spend the night. Nevertheless, it is always advisable to keep your belongings secure or use the luggage storage service.

Services available 24 hours

• Luggage: The luggage storage service is located on the first level of the Arrivals E sector and operates continuously 24 hours a day.
• Food and drink: During the night, the options are very limited. The Narvesen kiosk located in the Arrivals E area is usually the only outlet open 24/7 for snacks, drinks and coffee.
• Connectivity: Wi-Fi access is free, unlimited and maintains good speed during the night.
• Hygiene: Baby care rooms are open 24 hours a day. If you are looking for showers, these are available inside the Kepler Club or in the VIP lounge (the latter only during its opening hours).

Although there are no large luxury hotels within the terminal, the airport offers an innovative immediate rest solution and several quality options within a few kilometres.

Kepler Club: This capsule hotel is integrated directly into the terminal, with options on Level 3 (public area) and Level 2 (boarding area). This allows you to rest without having to leave the airport or go through security checks again if you are in transit. It offers private cabins equipped with a television, Wi-Fi and a ventilation system, as well as access to showers.
