El Salvador Comalapa airport (SAL)

Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez International Airport, also known as Comalapa Airport and opened on January 31, 1980, serves the city of San Salvador and the entire country. It is one of the largest and most modern in Central America, operating flights to North America, Central America and some destinations in South America and Europe.

The airport is located in the town of San Luis Talpa, in the department of La Paz, 50 km (30 miles) southeast of San Salvador.
