Seychelles International Airport, opened on March 20, 1972, and known locally as Aéroport de La Pointe Larue, is located on Mahé Island, Seychelles, and serves the capital, the city of Victoria. It operates with flights to the main destinations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Location
The airport is located 11 km (7 miles) southeast of the capital (Victoria) and is accessible by the Victoria - Providence highway. See MapPublic and private transportation
Buses
Frequent services from SPTC (Tel +248 432 5252) to Victoria bus station (North Route) and Anse Royale (South Route). There are two stops near the airport servicing routes and buses operate from 5:30 am to 7:30 pm. Schedules and fares
Ferry
Cat Cocos (Tel +248 429 7165) offers daily ferry services to the islands of Praslin and La Digue from the city of Victoria, with a trip of 1 hour. Tickets can be acquired at the jetty or booked in advance through your travel agent or at the following LINK.
Taxis
Vehicles available outside the Arrivals areas. Rates are displayed on the information screens inside the terminals. For more information, go to the taxi desk by the Arrivals exit. All taxis in Seychelles are regulated and have a meter. It is recommended to a receipt from the driver at the end of your trip. Journey time to the capital is 15 minutes.

Free parking facilities are available in the northern sector, located at the far end of the taxi car park.
The drop-off and pick-up area bays at the International Terminal concourse have limited time. Parking of vehicles is strictly prohibited and vehicles found parked in the drop-off or pick-up areas will be fined.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
Passengers with reduced mobility or that require special assistance should inform their airline about their needs at least 48 hours before their flight.
