Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, opened in 1942, serves the metropolitan area of the same name, comprised by the Manatee and Sarasota counties. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Canada.

The airport is located 7 km (4 miles) northwest from downtown Sarasota and 10 km (6 miles) to the south of Bradenton.

The airport has ATMs, postal services, plugs for electronic devices, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. There is a conference room in the first-floor lobby.
Food and Drinks- Restaurants, ice-cream store and fast food outlet before the security checkpoint, coffee shops and bar in the Departures area.
Shopping- Stores are located on the second floor and include newsagents, gift shops, books, accessories, sports goods.
Baggage- Carts available for USD4.00 inside and outside the luggage recollection area. Lost and found service at the police department, on the first floor, Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm (Tel +1 941 359 2770 ext. 4256).
Other Services- Massage chairs, art exhibits, baby changing facilities, aquarium.
Ride-sharing - Vehicles from Uber and Lyft pick passengers up in the short-term parking lot, row A8.
Bus - Public services stop at the ground transportation area, at the west end of the baggage reclaim hall. There are several routes from Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) (Tel +1 800 861 5000): express service 100X (downtown, North Port) has a cost of USD2.50; lines 2 (Old Bradenton, UTC Mall), 2S (UTC Mall, Lakewood Ranch), 30 (University Parkway, Lakewood Ranch) and 99 (downtown, Bradenton) have a fare of USD1.25. Buses operate Mondays through Saturdays (except line 2S) and the trip to the city centre takes around 20 minutes.
On the other hand, Manatee County Area Transit (MCAT) buses (Tel +1 941 749 7116) have a fare of USD1.50 and operate from Monday to Saturday. Line 16 runs to Goodwill and DeSoto in about 25 min., while route 99 goes to Sarasota, State College of Florida, DeSoto and Bradenton (35 min.)

Taxi - Ranks are situated outside the luggage recollection hall, at the west end of the terminal. The official operator is Diplomat Airport Transportation (Tel +1 941 777 1111) and the trip to the city centre takes around 15 minutes.

Short Term Lot - Directly across from the terminal building, with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Long Term Lot - Situated adjacent to the previous area. Free shuttles transport passengers to the terminal.
Shaded Parking - Covered parking lot to the east of the main building.
There are reserved parking spaces, ramps, automatic doors, elevators, bridge access to the aircraft, adapted toilets and drinking fountains, relief areas for service animals. If you should need a wheelchair, request the service from your airline at the time of your booking.
