Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Sharm el-Sheikh Airport has limited facilities but remains open 24 hours a day, allowing you to stay overnight if you have an early morning flight or a delayed connection.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable spots, so it’s advisable to have blankets or a sleeping bag in case you need to lie on the floor. On the other hand, the terminals have VIP lounges open around the clock if you prefer more comfort. Keep in mind that the maximum stay in all lounges is 3 hours. Alternatively, you can arrange transport with most nearby hotels.
Baggage: There is a luggage storage office in the Arrivals area.
Eating and drinking: Most shops close at night, but some cafeterias are open 24 hours a day.
Wi-Fi: Internet access is available in the terminals.
