Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF), also known as Sant'Eufemia Airport, is the main gateway to the Calabria region. Opened in June 1976, it serves the city of Lamezia Terme, the province of Catanzaro and much of southern Italy, operating domestic flights and international destinations (mostly seasonal) to various points across Europe.

Terminals
The airport has a single passenger terminal that handles all departure and arrival operations. The building remains open 24 hours a day, although commercial services usually close after the last scheduled flight.

Lamezia Terme Airport offers a range of functional services designed to enhance the passenger experience, distributed throughout its single terminal in both public areas and boarding zones.
Finance and Connectivity
To keep you connected, the airport provides 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi via the “sacal airport hotspot” network. As for financial services, there are cash machines strategically located in the check-in hall and in the departure lounge. You will also find charging stations for mobile devices in the waiting areas.
Dining
The dining options include bars offering typical Calabrian pastries, pizzerias and a restaurant with a self-service area on the first floor. After security controls, additional cafés are available near boarding gates 3, 6 and 10 for added convenience before your flight.
Shopping
A recently expanded Duty Free with international perfume and cosmetics brands is located in the boarding area. In the public area, you will find newsagents, tobacco shops, jewellery stores and outlets specialising in local food products (sweets, cured meats and Calabrian wines).
Baggage Services
- Luggage Trolleys: Available free of charge in the car parks and on the arrivals and departures levels.
- Baggage Protection: A luggage wrapping service with protective film (Safe Bag) is available in the check-in hall.
- Lost Property: If you have misplaced an item in the terminal, you should go to the assistance office in the arrivals hall, available Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You can contact them by email at infopoint.suf@sacal.it.
Other Services
The terminal is equipped with a permanent first aid medical service (Pronto Soccorso). For families, there are baby feeding rooms in the boarding area. In addition, meeting and conference rooms are available on the upper level, subject to prior reservation.
Parking services at Lamezia Terme airport (SUF)
The airport complex offers two main outdoor parking areas, with a total capacity exceeding 1,600 spaces. Both areas are automated and operate 24 hours a day, and are located within a short distance of the passenger terminal.
Car Park P1 (Sosta Breve)
Located just 30 metres in front of the arrivals and departures areas, this is the ideal option for short stays or for those requiring immediate access to the main terminal building. It is managed through number plate recognition systems and automatic barriers.
Car Park P2 (Lunga Sosta)
Situated opposite the cargo terminal, at a greater distance from the passenger building. This car park is intended for longer stays, offering daily and weekly rates that are significantly cheaper than those in P1.
Payment Methods and Charges
Payment must be made before collecting the vehicle at the automatic payment machines located in the arrivals hall and within the parking areas themselves. The machines accept cash and credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro).
Passengers with Reduced Mobility: The airport provides free reserved parking spaces for people with disabilities. To benefit from free parking, it is necessary to present the entry ticket together with the original disabled parking permit at the information desk before leaving the premises.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
The airport guarantees universal accessibility through adapted infrastructure that includes ramps, lifts with Braille signage, tactile pathways for people with visual impairments, adapted toilets and reserved parking spaces in preferential areas.
Assistance for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)
A free, comprehensive assistance service is available. To ensure the availability of staff and technical equipment (such as vehicles with ambulift platforms), you must inform your airline or travel agency of your specific needs at least 48 hours before your flight.
Upon arrival at the airport, you can request assistance at the following points:
- Call points: Located at the main entrances of the terminal and in the parking areas.
- Information desk: Located in the departures hall.
- Sala Amica: An exclusive and comfortable waiting area where specialised staff will provide support until boarding.
Unaccompanied Minors
An escort service is available for children aged between 5 and 12 (or up to 18 depending on the airline). Ground staff supervise the minor during security checks and the boarding process, handing them over personally to the cabin crew. It is recommended to check each airline’s specific documentation requirements before travelling.
