Tbilisi airport (TBS)

Tbilisi International Airport, opened in 1952, is the most important in Georgia. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The airport is situated 19 km (12 miles) to the southeast of the capital of Georgia.

What services does Tbilisi airport (TBS) facilities include

The airport has banks, currency exchange bureaus, ATMs, mobile phone services and free Wi-Fi access. The Primeclass Lounge is located on the second floor and is open 24 hours a day; it provides snacks, drinks, TV, computers, newspapers and magazines, fax, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (access with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, or by paying at the door - €50.00).

Food and Drinks

There are two coffee shops on the International Arrivals level, bars and restaurants in the international area and vending machines throughout the terminal. All options are open 24 hours a day.

Shopping

Three shops with duty-free items are available in the Departures area, in addition to a convenience store and souvenir stands.

Baggage

Public and private transportation

Bus

Line 37 from Tbilisi Transport Company (Tel +995 322 357 777) travels regularly to the city centre 24 hours a day, departing from in front of the Arrivals Hall. Journey time is 35-40 minutes. Stops include Saint Nikoloz Church, Orkhevi, Kakheti, Sante, Samgori, Pushkin Square, Heroes Square and Station Square.

Train

There are services to downtown Tbilisi that leave from the station located 70 meters away from the terminal, with a trip of 20 minutes. Departures are at 8:45 am and 6:05 pm.

Taxi

Cabs from Airport Taxi (Tel +995 322 052 100) available around the clock outside the Arrivals area. Travel time to the city centre is 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Parking services at Tbilisi airport (TBS)
