Fua'amotu International Airport (TBU)

Fua'amotu International Airport serves not only Nukualofa but also the nation of Tonga. It is on the south side of the main island, Tongatapu, 20 km from the capital of Tonga, Nukualofa.

Taxis, hotel mini-buses and the terminal transfer bus are found at the curbside directly outside both terminals.

Taxi's meet incoming international and domestic flights. The standard fare for up to four passengers between the airport and Nuku'alofa is T$40.

Many hotels and guesthouses also offer airport transfers for guests. These need to be arranged prior to your arrival.

There are no counters in the terminal. Guests are advised to book the order in advance.
