Public transportation services, licensed taxis and rideshare, private transfer companies and car rental services in Tampa airport (TPA)
Uber, Lyft and Wridz users can be picked up next to the red baggage claim area, the blue express curbside or at the SkyCenter One office building. A USD5.00 fee is added to the final fare.
Turo shared vehicles are only permitted in the economy garage, which is accessed from the Main Terminal via the SkyConnect train. The remote curbside next to the rental car center can also be used for quick pick-ups or drop-offs.
Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) (Tel +1 813 254 4278) operates services from the airport. The fare is USD2.00 and travel time to downtown Tampa is 30 minutes.
- Line 30: travels to downtown (Marion Transit Center) and Northwest Transfer Center every 30 minutes, from 4:20 am to 0:00 am on weekdays and from 5:30 am to 11:50 pm on Saturdays and Sundays
- Line 32: travels to West Tampa Transfer Center and Netpark Transfer Center every 30 min. from 5:45 am to 10:20 pm (weekends from 5:15 am to 10:15 pm)
- Line 10: goes to North Hyde Park, the University of Tampa, Riverwalk and Marion Transit Center from 5:45 am to 11:50 pm
The 300X service from Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) (Tel +1 727 540 1900) has a fare of USD2.25 and goes to Marion Transit Center and Ulmerton, Monday through Friday between 6:55 am and 8:00 pm.
Airport stops are located at the car rental center.
In downtown Tampa, there is a Greyhound station (Tel +1 800 231 2222), from where buses depart to destinations throughout the country.
