Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Warsaw airport has many flights and connections around the world, so it's often busy. However, it's a fairly quiet, if cold, place at night, so it's advisable to bring a sleeping bag or blankets.
Where to rest: You'll find plenty of benches inside the terminal and in the cafeterias, most without armrests. Another option (for a fee or with a credit card that provides the service) is to use one of the VIP lounges, where you have access to more comfort and privacy. The only problem is that they close at night. In addition, there is a hotel right across the street.
Baggage: There are lockers behind the bus stop where you can leave your bags.
Eating and drinking: There is a cafeteria which is open all night.
Restrooms: There are showers in the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free access.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing rooms, convenience stores, children's entertainment areas.
