Wrocław Airport is a modern and functional terminal that remains open 24 hours a day, allowing passengers to spend the night inside the facilities. Although it is a relatively quiet airport during the early hours, it is important to consider certain aspects to improve the resting experience.

Rest Areas

Departures Area (Airside): This is the most recommended area for resting. Once you have passed through security control, you will find several areas with sofas and padded seats, especially near boarding gates 9 and 10. These seats offer a much more comfortable option than the metal benches in the public area.

Public Area (Landside): If you have not yet checked in or if security control is closed, there are chairs and some quieter corners near the cafés on the ground floor. However, most seating in this area is rigid and fitted with armrests, making it difficult to lie down.

Environmental Conditions

It is important to note that the terminal lights remain on and are very bright throughout the night, so the use of an eye mask is recommended. Temperatures also tend to drop significantly, especially on the ground floor, so it is advisable to have blankets or warm clothing. Ambient noise levels are low, although occasional public address announcements may be heard.

Food and Drink

You should be aware that most airport restaurants and cafés close overnight (generally between 10:30 pm and 4:30 am). However, snack and drink vending machines are available throughout the terminal and operate 24 hours a day.

Baggage Management

The staffed left luggage service at the ticket office operates only until 7:00 pm. If you arrive later, you will need to keep your belongings with you, as there are no automatic lockers available outside these hours.

Other Night-Time Services

• Wi-Fi: Access is free and unlimited, making it easy to stay entertained while waiting.
• Security: The airport has permanent security staff, making it a safe place to stay overnight, although it is always advisable to keep personal belongings under supervision or secured.
• VIP Lounges: The Executive Lounge closes at 9:00 pm, so it is not an option for spending the entire night.

Although the airport does not have hotels within its main terminal building, travellers have excellent accommodation options located very close by. Some of these properties are within walking distance of the terminal, making them an ideal choice for short layovers or early-morning flights.
