Several services from Consorcio de Transportes Bahí­a de Cádiz (Tel +34 955 038 665) connect the airport with downtown Jerez de la Frontera (around 30 minutes; €1.40) and Cádiz (1 hour and 15 min.; €3.90), as well as Puerto de Santa Marí­a, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Chipiona and Costa Ballena.

Train

Renfe (Tel +34 912 320 320) operates line C-1 to Jerez de la Frontera (9 minutes; fare - €2.55), Cádiz (57 min.; €6.25) and several locations to the east and south of Bahí­a de Cádiz, such as Puerto de Santa Marí­a (19 min.; €3.80), Puerto Real (30 min.; €5.25) and San Fernando (38 min.; €5.25). The train leaves at 7:26 am (8:26 am on weekends and holidays), 1:19 pm and 7:12 pm.

On the other hand, the Seville-Cádiz line stops 8 times a day at the airport between 7:39 am and 10:48 pm. This route travels through the cities of Dos Hermanas, Lebrija, Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto de Santa Marí­a, San Fernando and Cádiz. Journey time to Seville is 1 hour and 11 min. and has a cost of €10.90.

Taxi

Cabs from Teletaxi Jerez (Tel +34 956 344 860) outside the terminal. The trip to Jerez de la Frontera city centre takes around 10 minutes and has a fare of €15.76 (€19.91 from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am and weekends).

M-051 - Connects the airport with Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz, via Puerto de Santa Marí­a.
M-052 - To Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz via Puerto Real university campus and Puerto de Santa Marí­a. Runs Mondays through Fridays.
M-053 - Travels to Jerez de la Frontera and Cádiz, going through Hospital de Jerez and Plaza Asdrúbal. Only on weekdays.
M-561 - Leaves from Monday to Friday to Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar, Chipiona and Costa Ballena, in the Rota area.
M-964 - Links the airport with the cities of Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Chipiona, Mondays through Fridays.
M-970 - Connects the enclosure with Jerez de la Frontera and Sanlúcar on weekdays, with no intermediate stops.

Although there are issues that seem more than obvious, it is always advisable to take them into account when moving to or from the airport, and especially if we go by public transport.  1- To the airport - It is convenient to leave with a little more anticipation than what is commonly suggested. If you choose a taxi or a private car service, always take into account peak traffic times, demonstrations, strikes or events that may delay the journey to the airport from where you are. It is always good to be informed about what is happening. If you contract a shared transfer service, have a contact telephone number handy in case of any delay by the company. In these cases they usually already have a scheduled collection time. If you use public transport (collective, train) take into account the schedules (weekends and holidays tend to have less frequency), if you have to change and also how to board (if you need a card or paying the driver or motorist at the moment ). These are details that seem obvious, but it is advisable to know so as not to have surprises and suffer a delay that could cause complications. If you rent a car to get to the airport, check where to leave the vehicle. At some airports, there is an exclusive parking lot for rental cars.  2 -From the airport- Here it is a little less stressful since you don't have the pressure of missing your flight. In the worst case, you will arrive later at the place where you are going to stay or at the meeting point where you are trying to arrive. Once you leave the plane, look for your suitcase and finish with the arrival procedures that are required. Then, follow the directions for public transportation or ask the airport staff. It is very useful to find out in advance the schedules of the buses or trains in case you arrive late at night. Not all work 24 hours. The same goes for taxis. In case of using an Uber-type service, have the mobile application handy to contact the driver. On the other hand, if you booked a private transport service, it is likely that they will have a person waiting for you, identified with a sign. If you rent a car to go from the airport to your final destination, for greater peace of mind it is advisable to book it in advance. Rental counters are usually available in the arrivals hall.
