John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport, opened in 1940, serves the city of Hamilton and the adjacent Greater Toronto Area, acting as a reliever for Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airport is situated in Mount Hope, 11 km (6.9 miles) southwest from downtown Hamilton and 64 km (40 miles) southwest from Toronto.
The airport has ATMs and Wi-Fi access with no charge.

Shopping- There is a store with duty-free articles in the Departures area and a shop selling electronics.
Baggage- Free luggage carts available throughout the terminal and the parking facilities. Ride-sharing - Lyft, Uber and Facedrive pick passengers up at the west end of the terminal curb.
Bus - Hamilton Street Railway (Tel +1 905 527 4441) operates line 20 A Line Express to the city centre, also stopping at Mountain Transit Centre, Mohawk College and Hamilton GO Transit Centre, where you can board services from GO Transit (Tel +1 888 438 6646) to several destinations. Route 20 leaves on weekdays from 5:25 am to 7:28 pm.
