 Passenger Guide

Toronto Pearson International Airport, opened on August 29, 1939, is the largest airport in Canada and one of the busiest in the world. It serves the Toronto area, the entire province of Ontario and much of the country. It operates domestic flights and numerous international destinations around the globe.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Open 24 hours a day. The Terminal Link train runs 24 hours every 4-8 minutes and provides free transportation between the terminals, the Sheraton Gateway and ALT hotels, Viscount Station and the Value Park parking lot. Stops are on level 5 of the Terminal 1 parking lot and on the bridge between Terminal 3 and the Sheraton Gateway Hotel.

The airport is located in the Mississauga and Etobicoke districts, 27 km (16 miles) northwest of downtown Toronto.

Passenger pick-up and drop-off

Take advantage of the free waiting area or curbside passenger pick-up and drop-off. When your friends and family arrive at Pearson Airport, you can be there to greet them.

Cell Phone Waiting Area
Located on Network Road, this area is where you can comfortably wait inside your car for that text message or call from the person you're expecting to arrive at Pearson. It is free to use for up to 45 minutes, but you must turn off your vehicle and remain with it at all times.

Curbside Pick-ups or Drop-offs
For quick passenger pick-ups or drop-offs, you may stop briefly outside the Arrivals and Departures areas at both terminals. Note that waiting is not permitted here or on the roads leading to both terminals.

Designated accessible drop-off locations
Accessible passenger drop-off locations are available on the boarding level of each terminal and offer a variety of features to assist people traveling with wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Express Park

Parking for short stays. This is the best option if you need more time to wait for friends or family. Covered area directly connected to Terminal 1. Choose this option for stays of up to 3 hours.

Directions
As you approach Terminal 1, head to the Departures level. The entrance to the parking garage is on your left. Use the two lanes on the right for Express Park.

Accessible spaces are located near the crosswalks and elevator lobbies.

Daily Park

Available at both terminals. Park in a covered garage connected to the terminal via an air-conditioned walkway. Open-air rooftop spaces.

Directions
As you approach Terminal 1, head to the boarding level. The entrance to the parking garage is on your left. To access Daily Park, use the three lanes on the left.

For Terminal 3, stay in the left lane and follow the signs to the garage.

Accessible parking spaces are located near the crosswalks and elevator lobbies.

Preferred park

Know exactly where to park and avoid circling the garage looking for a spot. This covered parking garage allows you easy access to the terminal from a reserved location.

Directions
When approaching Terminal 1, go to the Arrivals level and follow the signs to the parking lot. Continue to the second entrance. Enter through the Daily Park and, after scanning your reservation, follow the signs to level 3 e4.

As you approach Terminal 3, go to the Arrivals level and follow the gold-colored signs. Enter the garage through the designated door.

Valet Care

Forget about looking for a parking spot, just drive to the Terminal 1 garage to drop off your vehicle and let the driver on duty find a spot. You're just a short walk from the terminal and your vehicle stays in a covered garage while you travel.

As you approach Terminal 1, head to the Departures level. The entrance to the parking garage is on your left. To access Express Valet, approach the Express Park entrance lanes and proceed to the area marked "pre-booked valet only".

Once parked, enter the lobby and proceed to the customer service desk on the far left. Present your reservation confirmation and keys to the agent.

Accessible Parking
Accessible spaces are available on levels 2, 3, 6 and 7, near the crosswalks and elevator lobbies.

Value Park Garage

Keep your car out of the elements with affordable covered parking. Access to the complimentary Terminal Link train. Rooftop terrace is uncovered.

The most economical way to park at the airport. Uncovered parking adjacent to the Terminal Link courtesy train.

Viscount Station Reserved Lot

With this affordable reserved parking, you can avoid circling the lot looking for a spot. Park on airport property in an uncovered lot that's just steps away from the Terminal Link courtesy train.
