Spending the Night at the Airport

Zagreb Franjo Tudman Airport (ZAG) is open 24 hours, allowing passengers to stay overnight if necessary. However, it is important to note that once the security checkpoints close at night, passengers must remain in the public area (before security). The lights in the terminal are usually quite bright, so a sleep mask and earplugs can be useful for better rest.

Where to Rest

• Public Areas: You will find benches without armrests in the public area, which allow lying down, although they are metal. On the first floor, there is a section with some more comfortable loungers. Relatively quiet spots can also be found under the stairs in the mezzanine.

• VIP Lounges: The Primeclass Lounge offers greater comfort and privacy, but it is important to remember that it closes at night (until 10:00 pm), so it is not an option for overnight stays.

• Nearby Hotels: If you prefer the comfort of a bed, there are several hotels and accommodations near the airport, some of which offer shuttle services. Check the list below for more details.

Luggage Storage

Currently, Zagreb Airport does not provide a luggage storage or left-luggage service. Therefore, passengers must keep their belongings with them until they can check in or find another solution for safekeeping.

Food and Drink Options

Most dining options inside the terminal close, usually around 9:00 or 10:00 pm. It is advisable to plan ahead or bring supplies if you intend to spend the night at the airport.
