Brussels Airport, also known as Zaventem Airport and opened on 30 May 1958, is the most important airport in Belgium and one of the busiest on the continent. It operates flights within Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and the United States.

The terminal has several levels: -1 for the train station, 0 for ground transport, 2 for arrivals, and 3 for departures. The last two are connected to the airport's two piers: A for Schengen destinations and some African and U.S. flights; B for non-Schengen destinations and most intercontinental flights.

The airport is located in the town of Zaventem, in the province of Flemish Brabant, part of the Flanders region, and is 12 km (7.5 miles) northeast of Brussels.

Discount Car Park – Remote area, with both covered and open-air spaces, connected to the terminal every 15 minutes via a complimentary shuttle bus. Online booking only.
The facilities include ramps, lifts, escalators, moving walkways, wide automatic doors, contrasting signage strips, free wheelchairs, and reserved parking spaces. Inform your airline or travel agent about your specific needs at least 48 hours in advance.
The special assistance reception desk is located behind check-in row 2 (4:00 am to 10:00 pm). You can also register on level 2 of car park P2, in the drop-off area next to the ticket machines, at bus station platform C, or at the train station.
Children travelling alone will be escorted and supervised during the flight by the airline's staff.
