Cologne Bonn Airport, opened in 1950, is one of the most important in the country, both for passenger and cargo transport. It operates domestic and international flights to major European destinations, as well as some in North Africa and the Middle East.

The airport is located in the district of Porz and surrounded by the Wahner Heide nature reserve, 15 km (9.8 miles) southeast of Cologne and 16 km (10 miles) north of Bonn.

You may park for up to 10 minutes free of charge in front of the terminals. In addition, there are several areas for short and long stays, with guidance systems indicating available spaces. Charging stations for electric vehicles are available in P1, P2, and P3. Rates and reservations

P2 – Next to Terminal 2. Exclusive motorcycle spaces on level 4.
P3 – Located 350 metres from Terminal 2.
P20 & P32 – Short-term parking areas next to the Arrivals level of the terminals.
P-Nord – Long-stay and large vehicle parking 150 metres from Terminal 2.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Inside the premises, there are lifts, adapted toilets, and accessible telephones. The car parks have designated spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to coordinate the necessary services with their airline when booking. A vehicle with a lift is available for boarding the aircraft. Unaccompanied children will be escorted from the security checkpoint to the boarding gates, or from the baggage claim area to the exit.
