Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
The airport handles numerous flights, so there is usually constant activity and the terminals remain open 24 hours a day. It is advisable to have a blanket, as the place can get quite cold, and headphones or earplugs in case it gets noisy. Keep your plane ticket handy, as airport staff may request it to allow you to stay inside the terminals overnight.
Where to rest: You will find armrest-free benches and sofas throughout the premises. Some bars also have seating ideal for resting, such as in front of the supermarket in Terminal 1. You may also choose one of the VIP lounges, which offer greater comfort. The only downside is that they close at night. Alternatively, there are several hotels nearby, some of which offer shuttle services.
Baggage: Left-luggage offices operate from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. This means you will need to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: There are 24-hour options in both terminals.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, petrol station, supermarket, duty-free shops.
