 Passenger Guide

Rome Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, opened on January 15, 1961, is the busiest in Italy and one of the most important in Europe. It operates domestic and international flights to destinations all over the world.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 1 and 3, open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle connects the terminals to each other and to the car parks every 5-15 minutes.

The airport is located in Fiumicino, 26 km (16 miles) southwest of central Rome.

Parking services at Rome Fiumicino airport (FCO)

Fiumicino airport has a drop-off and pick-up area (free of charge for up to 15 minutes), a long-stay area, a multi-level area, an executive area within walking distance of the terminals, a parking area for motorbikes and an area for passengers with reduced mobility. Fares and reservations

Kiss & Go

Reserved for passengers and accompanying persons going to terminals 1 and 3, both for departures and arrivals. An electronic detection system that measures the transit time of vehicles in the area helps the flow of traffic to be more fluid and organised.

From the moment they pull into the area, motorists have 15 minutes to escort and say goodbye or greet someone departing or arriving without rushing, stress and congestion. The area was created to make travel to and from the airport smoother, and to encourage people to stop only in permitted areas, both free and paid.

Long-stay parking

There are 2100 indoor and 1600 outdoor parking spaces available. This area can be reached directly from the Rome-Fiumicino motorway (A91). It is only 10 minutes by shuttle from the airport terminals. The shuttle service is free of charge and runs every 5 min.

Payment:
- Four ATMs, one on each street corner.
- The Easy Parking customer service centre is located at the exit of the parking lot.

Multilevel Terminal Car Park

Marked with the letters A-B-C-D, the multilevel car parks are covered parking spaces and can be reached directly from the Rome-Fiumicino motorway (A91). They are perfect for short-term parking and are conveniently connected to the terminals by a pedestrian walkway equipped with moving walkways. Payment:
- B-C-D: ATMs on the ground floor and third level.
- A: two ATMs on the ground floor and two on the second level.
- The Easy Parking customer service centre is located just before the exit barriers.

Executive Parking

Make your journey enjoyable from the start by parking in the secure, video-monitored executive sectors. They are located within walking distance of the departures and arrivals areas and have covered access to the terminals. With the Fast Track voucher, you have access to the priority lane for carry-on baggage security checks.

Many other benefits are also included, such as the ability to request your car wash, refuelling and other services.

Payment:
- Manned executive station (active daily from 7:15 am to 10:00 pm).
- The Easy Parking customer service centre is located in front of the exit of the multi-story parking lot A.
- Automatic parking meters along the corresponding sidewalks.

Parking for motorcycles

There is a covered motorbike parking with a separate entrance on the ground floor of building A. It is conveniently connected to the terminals by a pedestrian walkway.

Payment:
- ATMs on the ground floor.

Parking for the disabled

This free, reserved parking is available on:
- Multilevel A, ground floor and levels 4 and 5.
- Multilevel C, ground floor.
- Long-stay parking, in all sections.

To take advantage of these spaces, an original disabled parking permit, along with the ticket taken when exiting the parking area, must be shown to staff at the operations centre located to the left of the A-B-C-D exit barriers.

There are also parking spaces reserved for passengers in possession of a disabled parking permit in front of the terminals on both the Arrivals and Departures levels. A maximum of 2 hours stay is permitted.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance must notify their airline at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Tactile walkways, special waiting rooms, adapted toilets, accessible counters, elevators and reserved parking spaces are available. Escort and airport transfer services are also available (Care to Fly - Tel +39 665 079 090), including assistance during boarding and disembarking.
