Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Where to rest
Although there are hotels nearby, not all passengers are willing to pay for a couple of hours' sleep. This is not a very comfortable airport to spend the night, as few of the seats do not have armrests. Some restaurants and fast food outlets have more comfortable armchairs. Other options are the seats by gates B, D, E and H, and the free lounges by gates A27-31. As the floor is likely to end up being your resting place, it's a good idea to have a blanket or sleeping bag handy. The VIP lounges tend to have more amenities, but are closed at night and the maximum stay is usually 2-3 hours.
Baggage
The luggage storage in Terminal 3 closes at 11:00 pm and reopens at 7:00 am, so you will have to keep your bags overnight.
Eating and drinking
There are a few alternatives open throughout the night in Terminal 3. Vending machines are also available in all terminals.
Restrooms
Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi
The airport provides free and unlimited service.
Other services open around the clock
ATMs, baby changing facilities.
