What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the centre of Rome by public transport?

The Cotral bus service costs €5.00 and stops at Termini and Tiburtina stations, in central Rome. The SIT bus costs €7.00 and stops at the Vatican and Termini. Terravision connects the airport with Termini station for €6.00.

What is the fastest way to get from the airport to the centre of Rome?

An Uber or taxi is the fastest way to get to the centre of Rome (40 minutes from the airport to Termini station). But, at the same time, it is the most expensive (from €70.00 by Uber and €50.00 by taxi).

Where to wait for the Uber?

Vehicles will wait for you on the top floor of the car park for short stays. Airport pick-up locations are subject to change, so to find your driver, always check the app after requesting a ride.

Is there free Wi-Fi access?

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi access in all terminals. To connect, turn on Wi-Fi on your device, choose the "Airport Free Wi-Fi" network, select one of the two types of free Wi-Fi at the airport: superfast free Wi-Fi (only with the Rome Airports app - up to 4 Mbps) and fast free Wi-Fi (up to 2 Mbps). Launch your browser and you will be automatically redirected to the welcome page.

How to go from Fiumicino to Ciampino airport or vice versa?

You will need to travel first to the city centre (Termini or Triburtina stations), and from there take a bus or train service to the airport.

How do I get between the airport terminals?

There is a free shuttle service that runs every 5-15 minutes. It connects the terminals and parking areas with the cargo area.

Where to buy a SIM card?

TIM (8:00 am to 6:00 pm), in Terminal 3, provides SIM cards and other mobile phone accessories for sale.

What to do in case of a long layover?

There are many shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. There are some alternatives open during the night in Terminal 3. In addition, vending machines are available in all terminals. In addition, the airport has several VIP lounges which are a great option for a connecting flight, a cancelled flight, early morning check-in or breakfast, buffet food, snacks, drinks and a relaxed atmosphere for rest or work. There are also two hotels on the premises: HelloSky, located opposite the terminals, and Hilton Rome Airport, connected by a covered walkway.

What to do in case of lost luggage or belongings?

For items lost before security checkpoints, call Tel +39 665 955 253. The office is located in the Arrivals area of Terminal 3 (next to the baggage storage) and is open Monday to Friday between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm.

If the loss occurred after security checks, call Tel +39 665 953 313.

Is there a luggage storage service?

The luggage deposit is located in Terminal 3, International Arrivals area.
- Porter conventional baggage: €9.00 for each piece of luggage transported.
- Porter unconventional baggage: €12.00 for each piece of luggage transported.
- Luggage storage: €10.00 per bag for 24 hours. Payment must be made upon return of luggage.

Payment for the porter service can be made online via the following LINK or at the information desks, exclusively by debit or credit card, followed by the issuance of a regular electronic invoice.

Is there a free parking area?

Kiss & Go is a fast and free parking area designed to offer companions and passengers quick and convenient access to the terminals. From the moment of access, you will have 15 minutes to accompany and greet those departing or arriving, in complete calm, without stress and without traffic jams.

Are there bureaux de change and banking services?

ATMs and currency exchange agencies are present inside the terminals and can be found on maps and multimedia totems.

Poste Italiane has a post office at the airport, in the Arrivals area of   Terminal 1, open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Are there pharmacies and medical services?

Pharmacies are located in the boarding area of the terminals and are open from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm.

The emergency room ('Pronto Soccorso') is open 24 hours a day throughout the year and provides medical assistance to passengers, accompanying persons and airport operators. Airport emergency management is assisted by a central computerised system, active 24 hours a day and connected to seven stations located at strategic points in the airport (Tel +39 665 953 133/134).
