Gimpo airport (GMP)

Gimpo International Airport, opened in 1939 during the Japanese occupation, was South Korea's most important airport until the construction of Incheon Airport. It currently serves as Seoul's secondary airport. It handles a large number of domestic flights and also operates some international routes to China and Japan.

Number of terminals - 2 - Domestic Terminal and Sky City International Terminal, open from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. They are connected every 12-15 minutes by a free shuttle bus service operating from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The airport is located in the westernmost part of Seoul, 15 km (9 miles) from the city's central district.

Parking for both short and long stays is available within the airport grounds. Valet parking service is offered on the second floor of both terminals (Tel +82 2 2660 2899). Prices

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Automatic doors, ramps, lifts, adapted toilets, auditory guides, accessible telephones and drinking fountains. Important information is available in Braille, and designated parking spaces are located in front of the terminals.
