Luanda airport (LAD)

Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport, opened in 1954, is the busiest in Angola. It operates with domestic and international flights to destinations in Africa and some locations in Europe, America and the Middle East.

Luanda airport is located 4 km (2.5 miles) to the south of the city centre.

Public and private transportation

Bus

Vehicles from TCUL (Tel +244 222 3820) run near the interchange in front of the airport car park. The stops are Avenida 21 de Janeiro (on the east side) and Avenida Revolução de Outubro (towards the city centre).

Taxi

Cabs available around the clock outside the terminal building. Drivers only accept cash. The trip to the city centre takes around 15 minutes.
