Transportation
Miami International Airport is connected to all of Greater Miami. Several transportation options are available, including public buses, hotel shuttles and vans, trains, taxis, and private services such as Uber and Lyft. Public transportation can be accessed at the Central Station, which is reached via the free MIA Mover train departing from the third level of the terminals.

There are private and shared transport options for groups, families, or individuals. The best option is to
book your transfer online in advance. This way, a driver will be waiting for you, and you won’t have to negotiate prices with taxis or transport companies. You can book a car for 3 passengers for USD74.00 (total price per vehicle). There are also vehicles for 4 (USD80.00) and 6 passengers (USD82.00), as well as minibuses for 11 (USD167.23) and 14 people (USD193.54). Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

How to get to South Beach by bus
The 150 Miami Beach Airport Express runs every 30 minutes from 5:20 am to 11:20 pm to Mid Beach, via Julia Tuttle Causeway. It then offers limited service to South Beach along Collins Ave / Indian Creek Dr and Washington Ave. Fare: USD2.25.

Which Metrorail lines reach the airport?
The
Orange Line of the
Metrorail (Tel +1 786 469 5675) operates from 5:00 am to 0:20 am. It travels between the airport and Dadeland North (10–15 minutes), with a fare of USD2.25. Other stops include Earlington Heights, Santa Clara, Culmer, Civic Center, Coconut Grove, South Miami, and the University of Miami. The
Green Line runs to Palmetto, with stops in Hialeah, Tri-Rail, and Brownsville.

What is the best way to get to Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach?
From the Central Station,
Tri-Rail trains (Tel +1 800 874 7245) connect Miami to Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The route includes stops throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. The fare to downtown Fort Lauderdale is USD2.50, and it takes about 10 minutes. The fare to Fort Lauderdale Airport is USD3.75 and USD8.75 to West Palm Beach.

How much is a taxi and where are the stands?
Taxis are available outside the baggage claim areas on the lower level (arrivals). Fares are metered, with a minimum fare of USD15.00 from the airport. The first 1/6 mile costs USD2.95.
App-based ride services pick up passengers on the arrivals level outside doors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 15, 20, and 23.
