San Francisco International Airport (SFO) offers a wide selection of VIP lounges across all terminals, providing quiet spaces and premium services. Access is generally determined by the airline, ticket class, frequent-flyer program membership, or membership in lounge networks.

Terminal 1 (Harvey Milk Terminal 1)

  • American Airlines Admirals Club: Located in Concourse B, it offers services such as a bar, showers, and workspaces.
  • Alaska Lounge: Also in Concourse B, it provides a relaxed space with snacks and beverages.

Access: Generally for premium-class passengers of American, Alaska, and oneworld partner airlines, as well as Admirals Club and Alaska Lounge members.

Terminal 2

  • Delta Sky Club: Located in Concourse C, featuring a full bar, food, showers, and workstations.
  • Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge: Located in Concourse D, noted for its outdoor terrace and showers.

Access: For premium-class passengers of Delta, Air Canada, and airlines in the SkyTeam and Star Alliance networks, as well as members of their respective clubs.

Terminal 3

  • The Centurion Lounge (American Express): Near the entrance to Concourse F (gate F1), offering gourmet food, a wine bar, showers, and workspaces.
  • United Club: Two locations in this terminal—one in Concourse E and another in Concourse F—plus the United Polaris Lounge for long-haul international passengers.

Access: The Centurion Lounge is for eligible American Express cardholders. United lounges are for United premium-class passengers, United Club members, and eligible Star Alliance travelers.

International Terminal

This terminal hosts the largest concentration of VIP lounges operated by various international airlines and alliances.

  • Alliance Lounges: The terminal features lounges from the three main alliances: Star Alliance (operated by United), oneworld (operated by British Airways), and SkyTeam (operated by Air France/KLM).
  • Airline Lounges: Airlines such as British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and Air France–KLM, among others, operate their own exclusive lounges.
  • Membership-Access Lounges: Lounges such as the China Airlines Dynasty Lounge and the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse that, in addition to serving their own passengers, often accept members of programs like Priority Pass or Diners Club.

Access: Access to these lounges depends on the airline you are flying and your frequent-flyer status. It is recommended to check access policies with your airline before arrival.

USO Lounge (For Military)

SFO has a USO lounge in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, located on the mezzanine level, offering a place to rest and services for members of the armed forces and their families.

Each terminal offers an award-winning selection of restaurants, bars, cafés, and fast-food outlets, with a strong emphasis on local flavors from San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Shopping

Duty-free shops are located in the boarding areas of the International Terminal (Concourses A and G). In addition, the airport features a wide variety of stores selling books, electronics, gifts, and products from local brands.

Baggage

Luggage Carts: Available in all terminals. The service is free for passengers arriving on international flights.

Baggage Storage: Luggage storage is available at the Airport Travel Agency, located in the Main Hall of the International Terminal (before security).

Lost & Found: The Lost and Found office is managed by Airport Police and is located in Terminal 1. To claim a lost item, it is essential to complete the official online form.

Other Services

  • SFO Museum: The airport is an accredited museum, with art galleries and rotating exhibitions throughout all terminals.
  • Yoga Rooms: SFO was one of the first airports in the world to offer yoga rooms. They are located in Harvey Milk Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3.
  • Showers: Freshen Up, located in the Main Hall of the International Terminal (before security), offers shower access for a fee.
  • Medical Clinic: The SFO Medical Clinic provides medical care and travel services. It is located in the Main Hall of the International Terminal.
  • Lactation Rooms: Private lactation rooms and nurseries are available in all terminals.
  • Pet Relief Areas: Service-animal relief areas are available in every terminal, both before and after security.
