Mariscal Sucre International Airport was opened on February 20, 2013, to replace the city's old air station, thus gaining in safety and modernity with one of the longest runways in South America. Together with Guayaquil Airport, it concentrates most of the country's flights, operating destinations throughout the Americas and Europe.

You must take care of your ticket and remember to cancel it (with credit card) before getting into your vehicle. The payment kiosks are located at the counters in the Arrivals Hall and on the ground floor and level 2 of the Quito Airport Center.
