 Passenger Guide

Tribhuvan International Airport, opened on 15 June 1955, is Nepal’s main international gateway. Due to traffic congestion, winter fog, and operating at full capacity, flights are frequently diverted to Gautam Buddha and Pokhara airports. A new international airport (Nijgadh International Airport) is planned for 2025. It operates domestic flights and routes to various destinations in Southeast Asia, the Far East, and the Middle East.
